Logic, Not Just for Vulcans Anymore

Logic has been used since the beginning of time, although we may have not realized it way back then. The use of logic has made the difference between a bad choice, and a good choice, for over twenty centuries. But why exactly do we need logic today, and why does it sometimes seem like not everyone uses logic?

Well, the basic answer to that is that NOT EVERYONE uses logic. Some people find it a waste of time and brain power, and they are usually the ones who need it the most! It actually used to be a fad that people didn’t use logic, and just didn’t care, and for some groups of people it still is today. But over the past few centuries, people have slowly been warming up to logic.

Logic is the thought process that allows you to make good decisions (most of the time). If we didn’t have logic, then the world would be turned upside down. There would be no right, and there would be no wrong. Instead, we would just simply do whatever we felt like doing, and let the consequences roam freely.

There is actually a field of study for the logic system that is used by every brain. Even someone with a mental deficiency uses logic, the only difference is that it is more than likely impaired in some way. Some people simply have a better logistics section in their brain, and are able to work things out in their head more quickly. Logic is actually used in education, especially in mathematics. Any sort of subject that has rules and outcomes is effected by logic.

Without logic, we would be lost as a society. It’s a wonderful creation, and we should always use it when it’s necessary! If you do use logic in every decision you make, your life will be a lot more simple in every aspect.
